They were finally able to take her home today after being in NICU for one month. They are so excited to be able to bring her home! Lucy has been doing very well and is now over 5lbs. Please pray that there will be no more complications.

Lucy is beautiful! Please tell Jon and Sharla that I am thrilled for them, and am so looking forward to holding that little girl when I get back. By then, she should be big enough to wiggle and giggle, but she should still fit snugly in the hood of my jalaba.

P.S. If I can't be her "auntie," then I think I want to be one of those rich, distant relatives whose visits, few and far between though they be, are always marked with much joy, hilarity, treasures, and elegant tea parties.
